Sorry, that might have been a little confusing. If a GTS is the same as a 993 TT, then the GTS REAR calipers are the same size as 993 (NA, not TT) FRONTS. The front brakes are larger, but not by very much.

My understanding was that all 86.5+ 928s used the same rear caliper...

Found this: Porsche 944 Turbo S bromsok sitter mer på vilka porschar...? << Föreg. ämne | Nästa ämne >>

Tack pöjkar! Mycket nyttig och bra info! =))) Mina kolvar är mycket riktigt 36 o 44'a...

You could be correct; I don't know much about the rear calipers on 928's. Either way, that doesn't really matter. I'm just saying that the 993 C2 front calipers (which are listed and the same size as 928 S4/GT fronts) are smaller than the GTS front calipers. I have read that the GTS calipers are the same size as Big Reds- 993TT front calipers. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks Hoyo. What this appears to say is that, that individual thinks that these are 944 turbo S brakes ...... aka 928 S4.

Where would the part numbers be located? I don't see any numbers other than the ones I posted earlier. Without measuring, they appear to be about the same size as the brakes on my '87S4.

Steve,
I really don't know about the part numbers. They ARE the same size as your S4 brakes. Sorry if I confused anyone; I'm just trying to help out. What I am trying to say is that you said you think they are the same size as GTS calipers when they are not. They are the same size as S4 front calipers. Just trying to help out...

You are right. I see the difference. Thanks for the correction.

S4 brakes(or equivalent) are plenty for my OB. I seriously doubt that I'll be doing much driving where I'd be able to tell the difference between those and GTS brakes anyway.

That is Swedish, I'm not good enough anymore to translate it. Where are our Swedish friends when you need them. Eller Var ar vor Svenska vanner?

Sorry don't have Swedish text on my keyboard.
