Maybe I do have the folding wing option.

Looking at the wing from underneath, I see a couple of hinges at each front corner. But the rear corners are bolted down. Maybe a previous owner didn't like the folding feature and modified it.

i had 1385 with and 1401 without. Now, my 1401 has the folding wing and the 1385 ... well that one's gone.

OK, after further investigation, and a hard right jab, I got the wing to fold up. So I retract my earlier statement, 87S4 VIN 599 does have a folding wing. Although for the life of me I don't understand the purpose of this feature.

My '87 has a vin in the 1400's and the folding wing. I put some anti seize on the hinges and it goes up and down easily. I wonder how many cars also got the piston oil squirters as well.

For $189 I'm half tempted to get one and sell my folding wing on eBay. But only half tempted.

Having little luck finding info on painting the wing body color. Anybody care to share painted wing stories....prep, paint, removing the wing, etc....does it come off as easily as it appears it would....eg, 4 bolts?
thanks
