I was re-reading this thread because of a PM question and I noticed an unanswered 'question/issue' here
Jim Bailey noted that :
While Porsche may have changed the frames (is this the painted base part or the Yokes ? In any case I did not need to change anything on my US spec car to retrofit H4's and Electric Headlight Aimers. The Yokes are a pain because you need to remove them to fit the motors (which then instantaneously twist/snap in) and then reinstall them, the position and mounting makes this a real pain to do alone (I was alone...) But I don't see any likely redesign that could eliminate this problem.

Jim Bailey noted that :
I seem to recall that the "swivel frame" 928 750 243 04 becomes 05 that is the big painted base of the headlight assembly and it was modified for clearance for the headlight adjuster motors

Red UFO,
>Where do you Euro guys buy that stuff?
You don't have to be a "Euro Guy" to buy these, we get them from Porsche here in the US. I have 2 sets of the electric adjusters and adapters in stock. Been planning to add them to my 90GT since I already have the Euro H4s with Swivel frame on it... just need more time for all these projects!!

I need some of those for my projector HID lights. When I fill up with gas, the cutoff is just a bit too high, and when gas is low, the beam doesn't extend as far as I'd like. Many (all?) HID systems now have autoleveling systems.
I will probably end up making some sort of cable system. Whether push/pull or screw drive, I'm not sure. The movement needed is very small at the headlight.
