That just hurts to look at. Nice paint job, though.
Tarek, there are no rednecks in Clearwater Beach. I lived for awhlie in New Port Richey...now they have rednecks!

If you are looking for a translation... forget the literal thing. "Rothals" means nothing to Germans, as does "Scheisskopf" - a word proudly presented to me by many non-German speaking Americans who claim to know this one German word...
"Bauer" (farmer) is sometimes used in a derogative way in Germany. It expersses that someone only knows his own farm, and not much else. The Irish would say "he's never been over the hill" - never been away to learn about the world and develop a sense of what's out there. We have lots of such farmers in the US, I hate to say... and many of them think that they actually do know how the world works.
I really don't know of any perfect word to translate "redneck" into German. I guess that's one of those situations where idiomatic expressions cannot be translated exactly. Maybe "Primitivling" (someone who is primitive), might do the trick.
But then again, I'd rather have you guys learn some useful German. such as "Donaudampfschiffartsgesellschaftskapitänsmütze". If you kan say this word, you are sure to impress every German... LOL!!!
