I need the left side ( drivers side ) cable that opens and closes the sunroof. The plastic piece on the end has broken and won't pull open the sunroof. Any one have a parts car that has a good one. Has to be the drivers side, as they are not interchangable from side to side.

That's a new one. Never have heard of that breaking before. Jim .... I've been thinking about your car. You should go through it carefully, have the frame checked carefully by a good body shop for twist. Before you continue spending all this effort on it.

If you let the sunroof keep on groaning open and shut, rather than cleaning and lubricating the slides and cables, the cable ends WILL break...

The cables are the same for all years - $50 a pop.
