Talking New License plate is in

It may be a repeat of a repeat, but it's mine. I guess it shows how few are in Louisiana.

You are thinking of south Louisiana. The northern part of the state is more in line with rednecks, farmers, and country music. Besides, the people from south Louisiana don't recognize anything north of Alexandria as being a part of Louisiana.

Yes, Jim, there are great differences in north and south Louisiana. However, that's a pretty damned bold generalization, although not totally inaccurate (and I'm sure you're excluding present company, of course), coming from a resident of another state; I've lived in both north and South Louisiana. Also, I've seen my share of rednecks and country music in Florida; farmers, not quite as many.

South Louisiana residents definitely recognize a whole lot of geography north of Alexandria when there's a hurricane zeroing in on the lower half of the state!

Nice Plate, Iceman!

I maybe could've been a little more inventive, but I wanted to keep it fairly basic (not that anyone other than a 928 owner will really undertand the "Shark" significance). Also, I have great visions of a 928 "fleet" in the future, so I can picure Shark2, Shark3, etc., etc. as additional plates. We'll just have to see if Mrs. Shark (and the remoras) will go along with that plan.

David
There is a CA plate of "sharkV8" looks good....I originally wanted "MY928S4" but it was taken...so "My928V8" its is....I have some other ideas for other 928's I might own in the future....but I will have to save those from prying eyes! I've also seen SHAARK & similar spins of that.....of course NSTY928 is probably the most famous out there!
