Regular vinyl electrical tape will slowly turn to goo with continuous exposure to the fuel vapors. Consier your temporary solution as, um, temporary.

The factory piece is hardly expensive from our regular suppliers. I should probably stock another one with the spare fuel filters I'll likely never need. Just in case.

But I thought the factory piece isn't so good, either...I thought i had read as much from you, Dr. Bob.

I know Roger has the metal Y but I'm not going to order just that part from him as it requires too much human intervention, in my opinion, for just one part.

Maybe when I place a larger order or something....
