Default Idle stabilizer questions

My intake is off. I've got two questions about the ISV.

1. I'd like to see if I can get the valve to move. Can I just put 12 Volt battery power over the valve leads or will that destroy it? I'd like to see if it moves and I'd like to clean it with the valve open and closed.

2. I know Tony has successfully moved his ISV into some place more accessible. He has a supercharger though and it was pretty convenient to move it with his set-up. Has anyone else with a normal stock set-up move the ISV to a place more accessible? Any info on location, mounting, hoses used, photos would be great.

It's surprising to me that the designers would put something mechanical in such an unaccessible place.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark,
It is powered from 12v so you can power it from a battery. get the polarity correct.
