Default For Sale - Extrude Honed Intake & Throttle Body With PICTURE!

Anyone interested, i know someone that is selling this. a beautifully POLISHED and extrude honed US 82-84 Ljet runners (close to euro spec) and big bore EURO throttle body.
(along with the Ljet "U" and Polished plennum with painted porsche crest)

they are real nice and hone out to near euro runner specs and there is a
Euro Throttle body available too.. euro Throttle body is also bolt on, as
it has the stock US Ljet switches mounted with a custom bracket. (i can
help port match it to fit the US Ljet AFM if anyone is interested) one of
the last cheap big hp gainers left for the US vintage 928s!!!!

If anyone has seen the US vs euro throttle body comparison, there is a
HUGE difference. 2.7" vs 3.5"!!!

grab it before it goes to ebay! $750 (that includes me doing the port
matching work on the Ljet AFM "U") Less if you dont need the port work done for you . (call it $650 as is)

let me know, by email

yes, thats an 80-84 US Ljet system that it will be compatable with.

its all bolt on stuff, and seemed to make a pretty big difference on scots 4.5, and much more on my 4.7 before i did the 5 liter bottomend. (ie 200hp to 243hp for just the intake, and 82 euro cams alone!) (all on top of a 150,000mile 4.7 US 47 engine with a head gasket leak!!)

Hi Mark,

Sounds like a great deal... I'd probably snap it up but we're in the process of buying a new house. Does this mean Scott has decided not to put the race car back together? I could feel his disappointment!!

Take care

Actually, this is a second set of an intake. THIS one is fully polished and real nice. (as well as extrude honed on the inside to near euro spec) the extra throttle body is true euro and has all the microswitch mods, that is not on a bare bones euro throttle body(meaning, it bolts right on.)
the last part is the US 80-84 "U", where ive offered to port match the U to the big euro throttle body, as there is a huge difference in diameter that needs to be machined away. (ive done this several times now!)

I dont know if scot is going to move forward with the race car fixing. he is pretty pissed right now that the engine lasted only 2.5 hours after 20+ hours of work. we should have taken the engine apart and freshen it up. we hoped that it would work, but the part of the mystery that could bite us, seemed to!

Generally, to hone out a US 80-84 FI intake, it cost about $500 exchange. i dont know what polishing the spider to a mirror finish costs, but it sure looks nice. This set is polished and extrude honed.
Plus, im offering to port match the usually much smaller AFM mounting "U" part that attaches to the bottom of the Throttle body (and the throttle body is the big euro type).

its going on ebay if no one chimes in .

Let me know if you want to see some pics. I should have some by this weekend. (picture the 2 valve spider tubes, only really shinney and with a nice painted porsche crest)

Default HERE ARE THE Pictures

HERE THEY ARE!

BEEEEAUTIFUL

pm ME IF INTERESTED!

Will fit any US from 1980 to 1984 and give some decent gains. anyone looking for HP should do this first. without it, its like running around with a 50% restrictor plate like nascar runs!

this is bolt on stuff. it doesnt get any betterthan this. even the micro switches have a custom mount to the throttle body, which normally doesnt have this configuration in europe. 15% more air from the runners and 50% more area out of the throttle body!
