Hey John, I wasn't ragging on Jim (hence the smiley faced icon). I posted in the hope that Jim would happen to see it and respond, or else that someone might let me know if Jim was still providing the service, without needlessly filling up his inbox.

Regards,

I second that, even if you get the British CD, Jim's is worth buying too. And his customer service is great. 'Course, you're still waiting to be a customer. ;-)

He was at that <jim928@ptd.net> address a few weeks ago when I noticed that somebody was duping his set and selling it on eBay. For twice as much.

Everybody needs a vacation. Maybe his mailbox filled up and is bouncing.

Hi Scott,
OK, no problem. I just wanted to make the point that Jim is not a business, just a private individual.

Although there may be other sources for the manuals on CD, I think Jim's is unique in its search facilities.

Also, Jim provides the Technical Information CD set which is not available elsewhere. Again, he has devoted many hours of his spare time for this project, for the benefit of 928 owners. Please support him.

Scott and AJK,
Sorry for not getting back to you or seeing this thread until now. I'm still in Sedona chasing the white ball but will be back home on 4/11. The only reason I happened to catch this now is that I finally convinced the friend I'm staying with to get a computer and hi speed access. I've been out since March 23 so I'm WAYYY behind on emails. If you'd do me a favor and email me at jim928@ptd.net, I promise I'll get you all the details when I return. Again, sorry for the delayed response.

thanks,
Jim
