Only when talking about the base 928 (no spoilers) and drag coefficient - not lift. Drivint that thing backwards at 165mph could possibly get you airborne...

I got an old German magazine from 1977 today, in which they say the (base) 928s aerodynamics (without spoilers) are about as good as the 911 turbo's. They did not say whether they were talking about drag coefficient or lift. The frontal area is certainly much larger on the 928 - in fact, it was a giant amung sportscars at the time.
