Default New toy for the shark

Hey all,

with all the projects I have lined up for the shark, I decided to add a new toy to the garage:

There was a discussion on similar 4 post lifts a while ago and I can vouch for this one. I bought it off eBay for $1850 + shipping and I am very impressed with the quality and sturdiness. It even comes with a set of casters so you can move it around with or without a car on it.

Paul, is that in your own garage or a public storage unit? I can't wait till I have the room for a lift.

Hey Rich,

it's actually both. I rent a few units close to my home for my business and one unit is home to the old girl.

The nice thing about a lift like that is that it's portable. If I move, I can take it with me. On a nice day, I can even push it outside and work.
Or I can lift one car high enough to park the other one below.

Paul-

Can you please post the make and model of your lift? I just bought a 72 bug and my wife is complaining that there's not enought room in the garage... This is the cheapest way to resolve that problem. Was this a one time offer on ebay or from an ebaystore? Thanks.

Hey Andrew,

I bought the lift from these guys:
http://www.completehydraulic.com/cl8000csp.htm

And they offer the same price from their website.
