Tim, I put the selections in with the check to you. FWIW, two (2) Shrimp Pasta's. Sent the check out last week.

Bruce, don't know what route we are taking yet to get to Tahoe, but there will be a caravan from the LA area. You can hook up with us somewhere along the way.

Hey Keith, it's Jeff.(Bruce??) From here it's 185 miles straight north to Tahoe via 395 through the Sierra's. No boring/smelly central valley. either way it will be good to see you all again.

We are up to 14 paid dinners for Sharks at the lake. Thanks to all who have sent in there checks and given me their dinner selections. For those who are sitting on the sidelines waiting, please get your lodging and dinner reservations made now. If you know you're coming up send me a check for the dinner. If you know of anyone who wants to come but may not be subscribed to this thread, please let them know.

I'd really like to see a couple of the supercharged cars up here. Maybe a sympathy ride for your host?

I'll give every one an update when we reach magic number 20 and I'm off the hook for dinner.

Tim:

I've been dragging my feet (actually my whole body is dragging after non-stop work on the car and garage lift), but I am in for 2 dinners.

Jeff, very sorry, major brain fart. I just couldn't remember your name when I was typing and was in a rush to get out the door to make a delivery. Sorry man, I owe you a drink!

Larry, keep me/us informed!

Larry,

If there is a group coming up from San Diego, could you have them let me know. I would feel really bad if they drove all of this way and the dinner was sold out.

I spoke with my buddy in Carlsbad, and he said that he and hi buddy, both 928er's, will know for sure if they are going by the end of the month. Ed said that he made reservations at the Inn, but has not yet sent his check for the meals. I encouraged him to "get on the stick".

Tim:

Tahoe Inn reservations made.

I'd like to send you the check for 2 dinners, but I can't find your address. 14 others managed somehow but I don't see an address in the thread or a PM I got from you. Thanks.

My plans are firmed up - Betsy and I will attend. We've had a great "cool" spring in AZ, but by June we'll be looking forward to cool Lake Tahoe. See you all there.

Tim, have you hit the magic number of 20 dinner attendees yet, or will you bet what you have so far at the tables to make the dinner tab? Come on 20 black ....

Come on, any other AZ Desert 928ers going???

I was out of town last week, so I apologize for the non response.
Sharks at the Lake is shaping up with 18 committed soles so far sending in there checks. Two more checks are in the mail so that means I'm off the hook for the dinner I'm thinking of coming up with an event T-Shirt if I have time. Is anyone interest? No commitment just an interest if we can get something reasonable.

Later

Tim a t-shirt / hat / poster what ever would be great. If it can done see if you can get it dated or something to the effect of "First Annual". Something to reflect the year and event. Sounds cool. How about a design with the Porsche crest in the shape of the lake?
