Tahoe doesn't get very warm even in mid august.... 80's is about it...in june the weather should be 70's at best only during the peak heat of the day...it should be great weather, no A/C needed!

You never need A/C in Tahoe in June. Heat yes!

Sharks at the Lake Update

If you are joining us in Lake Tahoe for Sharks at the Lake you should call the Tahoe Inn and book your room now (800 648-2324).

Directions to the Motel

If you are coming to Tahoe from I-80, take Hwy 267 in Truckee, to Lake Tahoe / Kings Beach, turn left on Hwy 28 in Kings Beach (a “T” intersection) and drive a short distance to Crystal Bay. The motel is on the left across from the Cal-Neva Resort Casino. The address is 9937 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

If you are coming North on Hwy 395 turn west onto Hwy 50 at Carson City (Towards Tahoe) then when you are over the summit, turn right onto Hwy 28 (to Incline Village). Continue past Incline Village on Hwy 28 until you get to Crystal Bay. Go past the only stop light and turn right into the motel.

As posted before, your dinner choices are:

1 Fresh Pacific Salmon
2 Shrimp Pasta
3 Rib Eye Steak

Please Private Mail me with your dinner selections for yourself and your guest if you have one. I have booked the room and guaranteed a minimum of 20 people, so I am now collecting money for the dinners. The dinners are $39 each and I need to have the money by April 18th. Send the checks to Tim Dey %Directional Media Services, 120 Country Club Center, Suite 14, Incline Village, Nv, 89451.
I have 21 guests confirmed so far, and the maximum for the banquet room is 40. I don’t want anyone to be left out so call the motel now and book your room and send in your check for dinner.

Here is our agenda for Sharks at the Lake:

Friday:
Guest arrival and check in at the Tahoe Inn. Hosted hospitality suite open 3:30pm – 7:30pm (Relax with a drink and party snacks)

7:30pm
On your own for dinner. Hook up with old friends or make some new ones. You can walk to 3 restaurants or I’ll help you pick a different one.

Saturday:
8:00am – 10:00am
Hospitality suite open for a Hosted continental breakfast (coffee / juice / pastries / bagels & cream cheese / fruit, etc

11:00am
The first of two weekend drives will leave the motel for points unknown, we will balance mountain roads with some interesting historical places. This will be the more spirited of the two drives, depending upon traffic of course.

3:00pm – 5:00pm
(or when we return)
Hospitality suite opens with hosted drinks and snacks.

6:00pm
Meet at the Tahoe Biltmore for No-Host cocktails before dinner. Dinner is at 7:00 in the banquet room at Conrad’s restaurant. The main cocktail lounge is right in front of Conrad’s. During dinner we will have Raffle Prizes and Great Surprises. Do You Feel Lucky? Thanks in advance to Nicole and DEVEK for donating some prizes for our raffle. After dinner you are welcome to enjoy the company and stay in the banquet room or adjourn to one of the 4 casinos in Crystal Bay for some famous Nevada style adult entertainment. (No Guy’s, I mean Gambling)

Sunday:
On your own for breakfast

10:00am
Its time for a scenic drive around Lake Tahoe that everyone will enjoy, so bring your camera. This will definitely not be a spirited drive as we are likely to run into some tourist traffic. We will stop for photos along the way, one of the places being Emerald Bay, one of the most photographed locations in the world. If you choose to sleep in and would like to skip this drive, I will provide you with a map to join us for lunch.

12:00pm (Noon)
(or when we get there)
We will end our weekend with a hosted Fathers Day BBQ at our home in Alpine Meadows. Relax on the deck and reflect on the good time you have had at the 1st Sharks at the Lake event. When you’re ready to leave, Interstate 80 is only 10 minutes away.

It should be a great time in a great location! Don’t miss it!

Hey Tim, include me and the wife unit for dinner. Beef for both of us. Likewise, "checks in the mail". Iceman is right, it doesn't sound good even when it's true.

HEY OUT THERE!!! Let's here from the rest of you. This is going to be fun. The drive alone is worth the price of admission. Beer always tastes better at higher altitudes.

You're forgiven Keith. Just think, two white GTS's side by side. What dinner selection should I put you down for?

Hey Tim, what's the count up to? Anybody from So. Cal coming up through the Owens Valley, US 395(Bishop) on there way there? If so PM me and we can hook up for the ride through the mountains to Tahoe.
