Default 928 Tool Set - need one

My vehicle did not have a tool set when I purchased it. Does anyone have a picture of thier tool set either in or out of the panel that they can post? I'd like to know exactly what I'm looking at/for.

I think I've located a set through a friend, but it's not "in hand" yet. However, if anyone has a set PM me with a price. Thanks!

We have all of the original tools - but they aren't cheap!

Thanks Wally,

Not trying to skirt around patronizing your store, but learning well from my father, I was hoping to find a "deal". Also, I'm figuring "by the set" would be cheaper than individually; used, but in-tact.

I would still like to see a full set "in place" in the back panel. Any pics out there?

Many thanks!

My digital camera is a POS but here you go.The tool kit came with my newly purchased 84S. I am missing the item that goes in the lowest space on the left side. Not sure what belongs there. I don't think these tools have ever been out of the holder. I got the spare tire air pump too. I don't think it has ever been used either.

Your missing piece is a small-diameter metal rod, about 6 inches in length. It is inserted through the hole you see in your socket wrench and serves as its handle.

In my GTS tool kit, there is an additional item, and I can't figure out what it is. It is a thin wire loop, about an inch or slightly more in diameter (about the same size as those little wire thingeys you blow bubbles with in your kid's little soap bubble bottle - only perfectly round.) and it has a straight section of wire coming off the circle with a small hook at the end.

Thanks Biggs. I thought that "socket" wrench was for the wheel lug nuts. I guess I would need some serious leverage on that thing to loosten lugs. What is the purpose of the spring on the socket wrench for?

Socket wrench with spring is to get to the spark plugs. I've never used it, but been told it works great for reaching around the spider and getting down to the plugs.

i believe this is for removing the centre Porsche caps in the wheels. You will note that there is two holes in each cap where the hook fits into and the circular piece is for you to insert your finger for removal of the caps.

Or is it for removing plastic dust shield from wheel lock? Isn't there different shape tool for center cap, one with two 'arms' that go in through two separate holes in cap?

Erkka,
I have one of those tools in my car....piece of metal coat hanger bent into a "U" w two ends bent at 90 degrees or two allen wrenches small enough to fit into the holes if you insist on using tools.

Actually, I can pop the plastic wheel lock shields off with just a fingernail or flat screwdriver, etc. So I'm thinkin' - until I hear something I like better - that maybe it's indeed for removal of the center caps. Have to give it a try.

|'ve not been able to remove the spark plugs with anything other than the tool provided, anything else I've tried is too wide.
