It really stabilized the car at speeds over 130 MPH (which is were the car felt loose in flat sweepers). I ran the hatch test with the stock wing and it closed at 80 MPH. With the Erebuni wing it closed at 60 MPH. If you had more pitch you would get more down force but might lose some top speed. Since the wing is fiberglass you could heat form it or add a metal skirt on the trailing edge.

Steve,
Thanks a bunch. When you did the hatch test, did you use the raised stock wing or the "stock" stock wing? I could probably add a gurney flap, but I need to read up on that some more before I figure out if that is the right thing to do. Thanks again.

Good point! I used the raised stock wing so the Erebuni wing should be quite a bit better. Having the wing up in the clean air makes a significant difference. At higher speeds instability in the 928 is not that noticable until you enter a high speed sweeping corner. The rear end feels like it's loading up and then unloading before it lets go. More down force seems to stop this.

Good to hear you are keeping your 928! And you get a another porsche to add to the stable! Now you will have the best of both worlds....the high speed cruiser (with good acceleration too) and track car.

Steve,
BTDT. Had an 88 turbo cabrio. Fun car, quick, but much harder to comfortably drive than a 928. It got lots of attention, but if i was going to do a turbo project it would probably be with a 964 bodied turbo 3.6. It is a much better, more modern car.
Good luck anyways - glad to hear you are not selling the shark.

The shark will go on to become a super cruiser. I'm having more parts made as we speak. I'm planning to drive the 930S while the 928 gets stroked.
