Pacific Northwest Mountain Drive and Tickets
Took the Euro out for a nice long mountain tour with some local friends today. Seems the PNW is a nice place for Porsches, generally speaking, they leave us alone. However, bring a few together like today, drive somewhere cool like Mount Rainier National Forest and Crystal Mountain, and BAM! Sucks, they just pull the first guy over and everyone behind him gets the same ticket. I'm pretty sure I wasn't doing the speeds he says, but oh well. We know what to do
Anyway, where was I .... man that Euro sure has some pep, the three S4's that toured with me today all commented on it. Not bad for an old bugger ... even if it is black with side mouldings. And then I got home and drove the US '85 to a restaurant .... so refined by comparison!!! I can't tell which is torquier, their torque bands are entirely different.

As a matter of fact, it's been quite a while since I've picked up a citation. (Hmmm... citation... Isn't that what they give you when you've done something good?) I must be gettin' old or sumpin.

Sorry to hear your fun was marred by a simple act of over zealous law enforcement. I'd be curious if he had radar on each vehicle. And if he did how could he show each of you the reading for your car? Not to mention the fact that it is impossible to watch 4 vehicles simultaneously. Hope you fight it and prevail. Hope you had a few cocktails afterwards.

He didn't. He passed us, at which we simply did the speed limit from that point on. The front driver says he saw him reach for his gun as he passed him. At that time I had already seen him and braked. Yet he says he radared each one of us separately - that's quite impossible, I would have believed more easily that he had later paced us, but even then we weren't over 70.
I guess the law is, if they think you're speeding they will say whatever they need to, to get you a ticket. As I say, not a big deal, I know how to deal with that

Heinrich... yes, Croozer SUV... that's what the (nice) sgt. cop
in Oregon was driving when he stopped us on the way to
Sharktoberfest. We got a lecture, no citation (an 80's Chevy).
You guys got paper because you had a RED shark with you.
