Can't imagine that they'll get the asking price of $29k. IMHO, it is nowhere near as
nice as the "green time machine" that was bought by one of our own here
on the board last year...you know who you are

It is a nice looking example of an early(er) 928. However, it sadly is the US version which is not a match for the Euro S version of that time. An auto collector may jump for this car.

 

29k for that 81'.Wow! Maybe I should be asking for more than 5k for my 81' that is for sale.

 

The driver's seat bolster shows about the same amount of wear as my car with 110k miles, although the lower cushions are in better shape. Any of the Norcal people know this car?

I live less than 10 miles from the shop. I will try to stop by and look at it this week. No hurry. I'm sure it will be there a while longer.

 

It looks like it might have the "competition package" since it has the large side bolster seats? It does make it slightly more desirable....but the price is way too high....that is probably about how much the car was brand new!!!
