So they started painting color at the beginning of the week and I went down at lunchtime to take some pics, should have the body back next week so I can start some assembly. Bumpers, sunroof, spoilers, mirrors etc ..maybe the week after.

Color is Arena Red and its not until you see it in the sun you get the full effect, also I used a digital camera from work which turned out to be a bad move.

Chris, one of my favorite Porsche pics was of a '97 993 widebody with Arena red paint. The car looked absolutely fabulous!!!!!!!!!!! I always wondered how good a 928 would look in that color. Can't wait to see the finished pics, in the sun. It should look awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with the remainder of the re-assembly.

Thanks for the compliments, I was really pissed when I got back to work and saw the quality of the photos, just does not do it justice.

It was the body shop owner who suggested Arena Red, his painter tried adding all kinds of pearl to spruce up the Buttgundy but to no avail .... when he showed me the paint chip for Arena it was like, do it.

As for the SC Shane .... maybe next Winter, need to recover from this paint job

Its an E-type, Mk1.5 I think, finished in British Racing Green and a new interior, v nice.
