Default FLA to NV- No Problems

Well I made it! The car ran great! My *** is going to need a few days to recover from sitting for so long but that is OK. Left Sarasota in a downpour on Sunday about 1:00 p.m. Arrived at my friend's house in Daytona beach about 5:30. Stayed overnite and left there Monday a.m. in route to Dave Mann's place. I got to Dave's place about 9:30 p.m. We had a late dinner and some beers. Much thanks to Dave and his wife for the hospitality. Tues a.m. was back on the road after a soak in the hot tub. Made it as far as El Reno, Oaklahoma before I had to stop for the nite. Billy Jo Bob law man pulled me over just before I stopped for the nite and wrote me a ticket for doing 90 in a 70 zone. I told him I was trying to pull away from the a-hole in the huge 4x4 that had been tailgating me relentlessly for several miles. He didn't care and wrote the ticket anyway. That is going to cost me a few bucks! Of course I can't go to court to fight it unless I want to go back to Oaklahoma! I left El Reno Wed a.m. and made it to just past Flagstaff AZ where I stayed for the nite. Got up this a.m. and made it home at 6:00 p.m. this evening! My digital camera is a POS so the pics aren't the greatest.

Glad you had a safe trip back. I love road trips except when Billy Jo Bob has no appreciation for the 928.

Sounds like you had a great trip overall! Don't let the ticket spoil the memory... (I'm going to traffic school on Saturday because of the one I got in October). I think the cop should have been more understanding, if the truck tailgating you was the one on that picture...

The car looks beautiful, and we all cross our fingers that your local DMV will not give you a hard time about its title.

They say "Getting there is half the fun ", but I bet it in a 928 it's closer to 90%! I'm still dreaming of a cross country trip. For now, I'll just live vicariously through your trip re-cap!

Cool trip, gotta expect some weather in Feb/March when you're driving cross country. I can't believe you parked next to a MAVERICK! Actually, I can't believe you found a Maverick to park next to. hahaha. Keep us informed on the title issues, it's gonna be fun to see how it goes.

Congrats,

Cool trip!

To bad about the ticket.

Just mail the Okie Rednecks their money and include a USC National Champion picture with your check... Trust me, you'll put some dirt in their craw with that one.
