Default WSMs on the 'net?

Has anyone tryed to post an electronic copy of the WSMs to the net?

If so, did Porsche complain, and/or do anything about it?

Also, has Porsche ever gotten around to cracking down on all those CD copys of the WSM? (since their chargeing and arm and a leg for the printed ones.)

From what I've read here. Porsche doesn't own the WSMs anymore. They sold them to some publishing company in Germany.

I've asked the same questions before and nobody had an answer as to what Porsche or the other company has done or would do. I also wonder if they'd care if somebody made a web-PET.

Did Porsche or who ever complain about the 944 WSMs being up?

They weren't easy to find, but I wouldn't want to own the server if the legal owner did find out & took offense. Who has time for such worries?

My suggestion would be to not post them on a web server, unless you do so quietly, and don't allow search engine crawlers to include the site in search engine results, etc.

I would suggest, instead, posting them to a newsgroup like alt.binaries.e-book.technical . If you don't know what newsgroups are, I suggest looking at http://extra.newsguy.com/ . They're the company I use and they have a free two day trial offer.

If anyone does put them up, I'd be grateful. I have them on paper, but sure would like to see what another version looks like in comparison.

I don't know about VU, but I've been thinking about a Porsche wiki possibly with the WSMs included.

If you don't know what a wiki is, go here http://www.wikipedia.org to view the best example of one.
