His car is an 86.5. Any major differences between it and doing a TB/water pump on an 87? The fan and the throttle linkages up front are the only issues i see??

Tony- IMHO, it is a lot easier to unbolt the fan assembly ( and store upright!) and quadrant in the '86.5 than it is to wrestle the dual electrics out of a S4. It's nice to have the space with the rad out too, but not necessary: just a nice sheet of cardboard to protect the" knuckle shredder"
