Hi where is the abs computer located on left hand drive vehicles, I'm doing this PSD conversion and need to know if the harness will be the same. So if somebody could help that would be great.

On my '85 EURO - Under the extreme left hand part of the dash - above the hood release lever.

Thanks Mark, but if we can be clear on it, just respond drivers or passengers, also I will be buying it from a 1990 model onwards, do you or anybody else know whether this changes.

Cheers Greg

P.S the reason I say drivers or passengers is that on some cars like the w126 merc they didn't change over all bits to RHD. So the hood release could be anywhere.

That's great news if that doesn't change in my1990. Because that is where it is on a RHD vehicle, opens up some options for me in finding a PSD system.

Thanks, if anybody knows about the 1990 model please pipe up.

Good luck finding a 90+ to strip. Not many cars down here in North America , so I'd say it must be worse up in your hemisphere.

That conversion would be no small undertaking. The ABS/PSD controller on my 90' with LH drive, is located under the driver's footwell outboard. Has a very large connector.

You need to look in the WSM to see schematics and component locations.

Thanks you guys, do appreciate it. The cars come from Japan and are amazingly cheap. It's just ridiculus, how much for a GT 91 model, with less than 40k on the clock? My friend my buy it, if it isn't already gone.
