Does anyone know if any of the major battery manufacturers have a battery that fits in a S4?

I dropped an Optima red top in mine with no modification at all. I just added a piece of platic to the cover to isolate the posts (just in case)

Yep, Everyone from Die-Hard to Douglas and even Ever-Start (at Wal-Mart) should have or can get a battery for your 928.

Most major battery companies make a model that will fit. My car has an interstate in it, but my friends has a "walmart" (yes walmart...I know prior owner) in it...good news though, the walmart battery was only $50!

AutoZone sells one that fits perfectly (right group and #'s, etc) and has a GREAT warranty.

IIRC, 2yr free replacement, 7 yr. pro-rated.

Having been ripped by Interstate more than once ....

The Autozone brand version looks like a rebadged BOSCH. They carry both. Whatever, it is a good battery at a very good price.
