i think it's cool to see that that truck doesn't do any damage to the car...
if it was a honda accord, it would be flat as a flounder by now...

I like the ride height in that in picture -

Didnt they have to cut the A pillars in order to make it crush in the movie?

Pacific Heights had a 911, not a 928.

Makes me wonder how many Directors, Producers, etc., said: "Hey, put my car in this scene!"

A, B and C as far as I know.

A true testament to how well engineered the car really is! A freekin' truck with almost twice the weight and the windows hadn't even cracked!

In a closer look, you can see a rigged set of stairs behind the car. Looks like they wanted to give the illusion that the truck squarely ran over the 928 without hanging over one side. Makes for a nice clean shot. The truck would probably high center on the car if it went straight over and straddled it...then the truck would REALLY look foolish!

Default 928 movie sighting

Just a heads up for those who like to see any 928 in the movies.
i just watched an old 80s flick called The Hidden. kind of a funny sci-fi/ cops and chase film that involves a battle of wills between an 'invasion of the body snatchers' type sociopathic alien who loves ferraris and loud metal music and the good guys trying to catch it.
there are some decent car chase scenes (i think the opening sequence can actually be found on youtube) but the main good guy cop drives a 928s which has an amazing sounding exhaust.
kind of crummy movie although not as bad as you would think but its worth a look for the 928 scenes and car chases.

One of my all time favorite movies! Thanks for reminding me.

Kyle MacLachlan drives the 928.

Yep, a classic.
Another...
There was a goofy cop, good lady vampire vs Mafia movie on the tube.
Don Rickles (for real) was the Mafia Don's Lawyer.
They showed just one scene of Rickles disembarking - just closing the door- on a 928
up in Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh.

Funny... I was watching an old episode of Matloch and one of the scenes was the cops chasing a guy driving a 928 OB.
