The only thing odd about this one is how deep the front fog/driving lights sit in the front bumper. When I wrecked my 84 way back...the lights sat like that due to the bumper under the cover being pushed way back. Something seems odd here...

AZ would title it. You may have to go through an inspection of some sort but the bottom line is ...they would.

I checked with the NV DMV to find out if this car can be registered in NV. The good news it that it can be registered. The bad news is that it will be registered as a reconstruct. I think that is the same as a salvage title in some states. I'll probably bid on it.

Hey Curt911,

Were the bumper shocks replaced with new ones? They are only good for one hit. That would explain the recessed lights. Easy fix though. Nice car!

I am bidding on this, and want to save this shark. What is she worth ? I know the title issue will kill her value, but how much is she worth not considering the c.o.d.?

I contacted a friend here in Atlanta that is licenced to deal in salvaged cars. He told me that a Florida c.o.d. is a death certificate for a car. It Wont go away! It cant Legally be titled Ever Again !
That Bites!!!!!

It would almost make sense for me to buy it and have it shipped to Sweden.. That really seems like a lot of car for the money.

I talked to the NV DMV and they said that it could be registered here after a state inspector checks out the car to make sure all is ok. It would have waht they call a "reconstruct" title. A used car dealer near my house tells me that Connecticut will issue a title if you send them a VIN and the vehicle doesn't come up as a stolen vehicle.

Well, I took the plunge and won the auction! I hope I won't be sorry! Now I have an 81' auto for sale if anyone knows of someone in the market looking for a 928.

If you can get the car up here to WA, I can get a new title for you. I'll still help out if I can, offer still stands.
