Default Clean GTS on Ebay

I think this is the GTS Sab refers too with the factory (looking anyway) wood kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...525541071&rd=1

It looks very clean! Small crack on steering wheel, dash looks good, seats look good...basically everything looks good....best news is no reserve...but I'm sure wilhoit will ****** it up, then relist it later +5K!

This is perfect for Nicole with the gray-gray color scheme! Might be time for a GTS? Its only down in San Luis Obispo...just a short drive away.

Is the owner (allegedly one) a rennlister?

This IS a nice looking car. It looks like the burlwood is a factory option and not a Jager kit. It does make it rare. It would have been nice if it had the full leather option too to make it...would have made the interior a 10. Nice colors! I am anxious to see what the car actually ends up selling for.

It is worth noting that in the last two or three years both Porsche and Audi revoked Steve Taub's franchise license to sell their vehicles.

I find it odd that someone invests in a $5k+ rootwood option, but no upgrade of the basic leather seats and vinyl panels. On the other hand, that is probably more resistent against California heat than more leather. It sure looks very nice!

Keith
I also have the car "watched" to see what it sells for.

Nicole
$5K for the rootwood, but not a few hundred(?) forthe full leather? Kinda odd? Sure held up well though.

How about - 91 gt (bwaaarney)? I must tell you, I'm just kicking tires. I'd love to have an amethyst S4/GT or GTS but really looking for a nice low mileage GTS with automatic for SO to drive......

Antone know th ename of this color? Is it a metallic? A few things to point out after looking through the pics pretty close.

I would say the console wood is a Jager kit, as is the clock. The side bolsters on the drives side have definetly been redyed. Other than that it looks great.

I wonder just how much this puppy will go for. I am suprised by how high the auction amount is already.

Tom-
If you think about selling the one you "stole" from me at auction, let me know!

P.S.- Can anyone explain what I would consider the odd bidding on this GTS? Why bid against yourself if there is no reserve?

ruf965, the color is slate gray which is non-metallic according to the LandSharkOz 'colour' chart

color is slate gray unsure if metallic.
wood kit is definitely factory, as is the clock. identical to the factory rootwood in my 90 gt.
engine bay looks a bit unkemp. no jump post cover, cowl cover askew, something funky on the top of the trans oil cooler.
rear a/c vents are loose as is the shifter boot.
gives one a sense of the degree of fanaticism of the owner. not bad, but not ideal either.
chuck,
i'm just kicking tires as well. i'd be forced to sell something if i bought a gts, but it would be hard to do.
