What is a TBF? Trust bearing failiur?
I dont know what it means!
And yes, if the engine hesitation begins you just swith off the key and start it up and it all goes away!

There are several opinions on what causes TBF and how to solve it. Locktite fix seems to be way to do it.

Heinrich is right, 5sp is not totally immune to TBF. Torque tube center shaft can move forward and start to push pilot bearing. There is some mm space for chaft to move before pushing starts. On my car one side of main bearing #3 was clearly more worn after 153k kilometers than other side. Worn one was same rear facing side what wears on automatics. Luckily wear was so small it had not damaged crankshaft or block in any way. But there was so little surface left in bearing at rear side it could not have lasted much longer. Not sure if TT center shaft had actually moved in my case or if something totally different caused main bearing to wear as haven't checked yet center shafts measurement from WSM. It's possible TT didn't cause it but if it didn't what did?
In your case it's unlikely it's TBF but IMHO it can't be totally ruled out until some other cause is found.

I think if all goes away IMMEDIATELY in other words no cooling off needed, then it's not TBF. TBF will make engine work hard to turn and stop if it's bad enough. Then you can't start immediately or if you can start it, it will run badly till you let it cool down.
Your problem sounds computer-related, or maybe dirty injectors? Who knows. Start diagnosing
