Default 85 engine rebuild

Well my rebuilds coming along finally, Got the heads on and the driver side cams in.

A few scary things so far, The toruqe seqence for the heads. What the heck is that. 15lb then 3 90deg. turns. I swear it felt like the studs were pulling up on the last turn.
Then there is the small flakes if factory intake paint I found in the oil pathways of both the block and the heads. Thats can not be a good thing.

So about the time I got the cams in it was dinner time so I took a break and read the cam timming section of the manuals. That gave me one major head ache so I gave up for the night.

To top it all off I noticed I forgot to order the cam seals GRRRRRRR!!!
