Looking for a 928...Any help please
Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and have been a 928 lover for a long time. I was hoping to find some help in looking for a 928. The year is not that important. I am only looking to spend between 9k - 12k. I live in the Austin, Texas area so something fairly close would help (i.e. not N.Y. or upstate) if you know what I mean. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks and again "hello".

It takes awhile to find a good one. They're rare and getting rarer. You should be able to get into something decent for that much, though. Welcome to 928-land.

Thanks. I think finding a decent one is the challenge. I have looked at a couple but wasn't really impressed with the sellers. Felt like one in particular was trying to hide information. Just had a gut feeling so I walked away. Just getting frustrated trying to find the right one so I thought someone on here could help.

Good luck in finding one! I searched high and low for many, many months, and finally found my first back in September. I grin just looking at it and all teeth are bared while driving. One thing I noticed is that if someone is selling a car, if they are a reputable owner and/or have a decent car, they WILL be willing to talk about it. After 5 minutes of discussion, you can usually tell whether or not they know what they're talking about. My PO was switching to a Carerra and didn't want two.
Also, depending on the age and mileage, look for the usual, necessary maintenance, epairs and replacements. Many others on Rennlist much wiser than I can give you more advice in this area.
Once I acquire a digitial camera, I'll share photos! Post yours upon purchase. Good Luck!
