Default Cayenne wheels on a S4?

I'm sure this has been covered before but here goes... Standing at the gas pump today and up pulls a new Cayenne Turbo S. The factory wheels on this rig where really nice (IMHO). Does anybody know if they will fit a S4? Spacers, rolled fenders, adapters, anyway possible ??? Also what are your thoughts on doing this, good or bad? Thanks.

Don't think so. I remember the offsets being 50mm

Jeff,

It depends on the width and diameter and offset... 50mm ET will fit in some applications if the width and diameter allow... Those wheels you like so much on my car are ET50mm in front.... 18 X 8 ET50 with 235/40-18 tires... No rubbing, and handling fine...

Now to get the other ones up there...

Let me also say that I have stock ride height. If your ride height is off, then you have other issues to account for...

However, they do fit... as do 295/30-18 in back without flaring....again, it depends on a few things...

Cheers,

Richard, what size/offset are your rear wheels?

Somebody previously posted that the 18x8 Cayenne wheels fit, but they are very heavy. The 17x7.5 53mm offsets should fit fine.

18 X 10 ET 65mm

To fit 295, you will need to use a 13mm spacer to get the wheel outboards a bit. You will also need to gently massage the inner lip of the rear wheelwell. You do not have to get GTS flares as is commonly thought...

If your suspension is off or worn, then you need to fix that first...

I think the Cayenne wheels are heavier, but am not sure. I think Porsche or Wheelenhancement could tell you how much they weigh.

According to the Tequipment catalog the 18" Cayenne S wheel is 8 X 18 ET57; all the 19" and 20" wheels are 9" wide with ET60. All Cayenne wheels will fit an 928 assuming the bolt pattern and center bore are the same as regular Porsche.

A few mentions here about wieght. What is the difference in wieght between say a stock dish plate rim or a Cup wheel and the Cayenne turbo wheels? Could it really amount to much of anything outside of track time? Any idea on what the cost might be for a set of Cayenne wheels new. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this.

http://www.wheelweights.net
Flat dish 16x7 forged 18.5lbs
CS 16x8 forged 19lbs

993/GTS? 17x7.5 cast 18lbs
993/GTS? 17x9 cast 19.5lbs

I didn't find Cayenne wheel weights.
