Guys,
1994 GTS is sold on Ebay in Germany with 647000km or 402000mls. Car got the engine changed @ 502000km or 312000 mls. Two PO's comes with all records. I knew that the car is reliable but this is pretty awesome

Pretty awesome - one could have a car that is rare in two ways: 1995 model year AND the mileage. PLUS - it is iris blue lmetallic. No wonder people are bidding like crazy...

How do you even drive that far around Europe in 10 years! He must have done daily continental laps.

Almost 10 years over 200 days a year makes about 200 miles per day. 100 to work in morning and other 100 back home in evening. Under two hours per day on autobahn if traffic isn't bad. 928 is perfect for that.

Thats alot of miles! I talked to a 911 owner other day at work. He had an 82 that he put 450,000 miles on (rebuilt engine at 225,000) traded it in on a 2000 911 convertible (got $10K for his trade in too)..its got 178,000+ as we speak...guy drives 32K+ per year and loves his porsches....just another example of how well these cars are built!

I wonder how many sets of tires he went through?

I remember trading messages with someone in Germany who regularly drove his 928 at high speeds on the Autobahn. I don't remember the speeds involved or the actually number of miles per set of tires, but when you divided it out it was a frighteningly small number of hours per set of tires!

Bill,

I have put more than 70,000 miles on my S4 in 13 months of regular continuous use here in CA.. In Germany, like Erkka says, this is VERY easy to do.. I remember driving from Berlin to Hamburg, 325 Km in 1.5 hours with my 740i in a 928, it would have been less time, as the car is more stable at speed...

In any event, if I kept my previous pace, like that past year of 200 miles per day, the results could be similar... It may be something to shoot for... Now I only get to average 100 miles per day though..

236+ k, still going strong, and counting....!

Man I love Iris Blue...!
