fyi, I had this on the other thread that dealt with this car...

I've watched these threads throughout this ordeal and felt that responding at any time during Dave and our discussion of a resolution would only add fuel to the fire that can run rampant on these boards.

We offered Dave a "very reasonable and acceptable" (his words) solution to the issue. He decided that it was best to just sell the car to Earl and Gary at this point. End of story.

We at Exclusive Motors are not in the business to sell junk, or to mislead anybody about anything that we know about a car we sell. Stan and I are long time PCA members that are car enthusiasts first and foremost....I just happen to have a cool job sellng these wonderful cars full time. Neither of us have a background in car selling, we are learning on the fly. We rely heavily on a few independent, top notch mechanics to tell us what's "under the skin" of a car we buy for resale and encourage all of our prospective customers to talk directly to those mechanics and hear it from an "unbiased" source.

Besides....does anybody think we'd be stupid enough to sell a car to a local PCA member that we knew was bad? Talk about a short business life.

Just as a little more insite on us: I, Bob Saville, am the local PCA Area Director for the Carolinas Region (long story what an AD is, but you can go to our region website to find out), and Stan , my partner and owner of a beautiful GTS, is the Regional VP. My wife and I are DE registrars and both Driving Instructors. We have been in the club for a long time, and have made a lot of friends all over the world because of it. We have A LOT more to lose if we screwed people than the normal dealer might.

OK, enough of my soapbox. The point is that we did, and continue to do, anything we can to help Dave out with his vehicle issues. I appreciate Dave stepping in to squelch any untrue or
slanderous rumors while we were working out a solution. It shows what kind of stand up guy he is. Never during this ordeal did he point blame or accuse us of anything, or even ask us for any kind of remedy. The solution that was offered was because I felt it was the right thing to do.

Good to set the record straight, Bob. Sounds like everything worked out OK in the end.

Drop me a note when you have a line on a nice auto-GTS.
