Pressure Testing a steering rack?
I am in the middle of a bunch of winter projects...the biggest (or so I thought!) is the motor mounts.
While in there - I notice that one side of my rack is really leaking badly....wprse then I previously thought... I have another rack (supposedly rebuilt) that I bought as a spare and/or for my track car project a while back. As my rack is leaking, I am seriously considering installing the 'spare'.
Is there any way to pressure test this rack PRIOR to installing it - just to make sure there are no issues?
