Default Bent a wheel...

[expletive deleted]

Bent the front right today. On a new-to-me set of C-2's I bought 2 days earlier from a rennlister in Detroit complete with new dunlop m2's. [expletive deleted] Killed the tire (split side wall), bent the wheel (rim edge dimple). I'm hoping the wheel can be fixed. I was just leaving Detroit for my 7ish hour flight to Northern Va... and hit the mother of all potholes at 60 on I-75S. [expletive deleted]. So I had my bud bring me the two old fronts I'd taken off in favor of the c-2's, tossed the c-2 fronts in the hatch and beat feet for Va. Hour down the road I realize I've mounted the tires opposite their rotation spec. Duh. No wonder it darts like that when I change lanes. [expletive deleted] Still romped but looked extremely goofy with 16" S flats in front and 17" C-2's in back. I figure from the back you can't tell... lol

So... can a dimpled out rim edge be repaired? I'll get on the phone on Monday but wondered if any had experience with getting a wheel fixed.
