So the hard part begins? Removing the lines from the underside towards the front, and I do have my motor in. And no it ain't coming out.

BTW nice job on the cage in your Shark.

Problem is that most AC parts don't have much of a shelf life. Once they start corroding, they are worthless.

Jim,

Thanks for the pics. Looks like you the job pretty quick. How much does that assembly weigh? Looks huge. I'd say you could put almost anything in the middle there. Probably could cover it fairly easily and have it look nice.

Mark,

I already had the console off so it wasn't too bad. I doubt the parts pictured weigh more than 10lbs, probably more like 5. I expected it all to be heavier.

Jim, I removed mine last spring, and decided to use the mount area for my stereo amps. Made a platform out of speaker board, covered it in vinyl, and bolted it to the 4 mount holes for the rear a/c. Then I mounted my amps to that, so there is no hardware showing.
