Default power antenna

Anyone know if there is an internal or inline fuse for the oem power antenna on a 1984S US spec? I had some trouble with my battery ground strap a couple months back and my power hatch inline fuse had popped (now fixed)... The antenna also stopped working at the same time and all the fuses in the fuse box have been checked. I am hoping I dont have to pull the dash apart.

I replaced the power antenna on my '84S US spec 928 a few years ago. I seem to remember an in-line fuse near the antenna motor. You'll need to pull the driver's side rear wheel and liner to access it. Good luck.

IIRC there is no fuse between the fuse panel and the antenna. I believe there is a connector though, and that's where the majority of my electrical demons live. Pull the liner that DG mentions and clean the connector you find there for the antenna. If that doesn't work check for power (and ground!) for the antenna. If that's ok, you may need to check the blue wire connection from the radio which signals the antenna to rise.
