Default "Red Stuff" leaking

So I move the car to wash it and I see red drops of an oily liquid on the floor near my right front wheel. "Oh golly gee-whiz gosh darn I say to myself" (or words to that effect) "I've got a power steering leak!" So I call Jim and order a rack. I figure I've got to move it for the motor mounts anyway, so might as well do it all at one time.
Guess I better check the power steering fluid level. Looks pretty good----hey, it's clear, not red! Hmmmm, better drop the belly pan.

Ernest,
The skin on old men's hands gets so thin that even a minor bump results in a cut and bleeding. And, of course their forgetfulness prevents them from remembering the bump. That would explain any red liquid on my garage floor. How about yours?

Just a thought here Ernest...
What color is your coolant? Green or that long-life orangish-reddish stuff? Forgive my ignoance here, but is your car an auto? It's possible you have a transmission line leaking, or if your cooant is the orange stuff, your passenger side coolant tank on the radiator has begun leaking (just like mine!). Good idea to pull the shrouds off and find out... good luck!

Ok, WTF? I see from your other identical thread you've found the problem. Good job!

Ernest,
I would recommend to find the source for the leak first. I used a UV-leak detector kit from Autozone to find the source for my power steering leak. This kit works with your AC, any kind of oil (ATF or motor oil) and coolant. It saved my a bunch of time and money and is really easy to use!

Check the transmission cooler hoses that run up along that side of the radiator to the trans cooler. The hose fittings eventually develop leaks. The fluid runs down the hose and drips off the lowest point right where you describe.
