Mike
Help....no problem
Unless you've pre arranged some agreement w/ the seller I doubt he's going to let you have the car picked up w/o 100% payment. Do you know what's wrong with the car or what parts you'll need?

In his original listing and follow-up emails he said that it was driven into their shop and needed a water pump. Could be major, could be minor. Owner never came back to authorize the repair. Broken hatch glass, missing driver side front turn signal. Pulled engine parts are in a box in the hatch. Mechanics lein sale. Other than neglect I am not really sure. CarFax shows previous salvage title from TX, car was last registered in IL w/clean title. IL issues salvage titles for stolen vehicles, so that may be the cause but I am more or less just guessing.

I flying up there tomorrow (Sunday) for work and would be willing to help. Are you looking for someone to check it out and make sure it's a real car? Or something else?

Victor, thanks for the offer I have no idea where you are going, and wouldn't ask that you go out of your way. The shop is in Prior Lake MN, the seller has said that he would need an hours notice for someone to meet w/the transport so I am guessing he would need the same if you were to go and look for me on a mon-fri, I have no idea about a sunday.

Mike,
If and when you get this beast, I'd be happy to assist if I can with the get it back on the road process. You're not too far from me and I've got a very good assortment of tools and experience with 928 wrenching. Good luck with the transport.

I guess so. I have spoken and emailed the seller several times. Victor had offered to even go and check it out. The seller wanted $150 non-refundable just to have an inspection. I have decided that I will keep looking for the time being and take a ding on my ebay #. I wish anyone else that decides to try to save this shark good luck.

The sellers are
