Default Genuine RS Magnesium Cup 2 wheels available!

Hi There,

I have a pair of 9J x 17 inch genuine RS Cup two rims available. They are in perfect condition havng only seen light use and recently being totally refurbished using the correct etcher/primer and Porsche silver paint with epoxy clearcoat. This work was carried out at considerable expense. The wheels have not been used since refurbishment.

These wheels are VERY light and perfect for your RS/Race project. They are incredibly rare. I will package appropriately and ship/insure free to the US, Australia or Europe. Please contact me if you wish photograps and details. Offers accepted.

Regards

Hi I sent you a message in response to your ad. Are the rims still available for purchase?

Cheers,

Thought I'd try anyway as you can never run out of luck just a little patience.

May I ask how much you sold them for? I've seen recent prices range from 800quids to 2000quids

Wow what a deal. I'll be a happy boy when I find a set. I've got 4 sets of techart 18x8.5 Cup1's made by Jara in Germany. Some sets are 9.5 wide in the rear. Shouldn't be hard to offload some of these to pick up a set up Mags.

Thanks for the response though Macca, helped lots.

Cheers,
_Anton

Anton-

Do you have any pics of these 8.5 and 9.5x18 Jara Cup I's? Any idea what the offsets are on these wheels? I've never seen Cup I's in 18", I'd be interested to see how they look.

Edit,

Just realized how old this was.

They didn't make 17" Cup II in magnesium. They did make a 17" Cup I in magnesium in 7.5 and 9" part numbers 965.362.124.15
965.362.128.10 and of course the magnesium centered 18" speedlines from the 993GT2 evo which are worth about $10k for a set. they also never made 18" cup I's or II's from the factory.

Some pics of my other shoes. 18'' Cup1 18x8.5 Et52 Made by Jara in one piece. These rims were offered through Techart but NLA for many years now. A few pics of my project. Not a Porsche but a hybrid of Audi and Porsche at the time when they were very close.. Looks like they'll be working very closely again here in the future. I want the look of the standard RS2 however I'd like the wider 9'' wide rears of the mags and the weight savings they offer. Not doing anything crazy. My power goals on the 20v 2.2t will be upwards of 400whp. Few pics also of the RS2 with standard 17''x7.5 Cup1 and also with the 18'' Cup1.

Anton-

Thanks for posting the pics, I would LOVE to get a set of the 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 Jara wheels for my stroker project- exactly what I'm looking for. Too bad it sounds like none are in the western hemisphere. Oh well, if you ever hear of a set for sale, shout! (How bad can it be to ship 100 lbs of wheels half way around the world.... )

Love the RS2! I was sorely tempted by a '95 BMW M5T 3.8L before taking the 928 plunge. Someday....

That makes more sense. Not used on Porsche's. These are nice looking wheels. speedline look without the three piece bolts.
