Hey All,
I'm trying to get in the swing of the season, so I thought maybe a nice desktop pic of a shark in action in the snow would be nice...
Salt in MI keeps from using mine, but elsewhere in the world I'm sure someone drives through the winter!
Thanks

Only few 928's move here now that snow is on the ground but will likely see one or two this coming weekend. Allready planned to take some pics but as usual quality isn't going to be any good.
There is one white S standing at residential street with four inches of snow on top at the moment. Also been meaning to take picture of it for some time as it's such odd sight among usual econoboxes. Car has stayed at basically same spot for years. It has Mercedes van wheels on with studder winter tires all year round. Only time I have seen it move was maybe five years ago and it had those same wheels and tires on in mid May. It's illegal to use studded tires that time of year unless wheather really requires them so it's probably isn't driven during summer. Cops have easy time picking out violators as studs make loud noise on clear asphalt. Judging on amount of snow on top of it during winters it's not driven then either. What a waste.

Here ya go...from last winter, showing off my "snow tire/rim" combo.
After this winter's rebuild and thorough cleaning, it's a scene that won't happen again for my shark...

Dave, that could be a 928 in the snow. It could also be a 928 in the rain or a 928 on a tropic island at night - really hard to tell when it's black on black on black

Get ahold of the August/September 2003 issue of Christophorus and see the article "The ABS of yesteryear is today’s Porsche Stability Management". There is an awesome photo of a GranPrixs White S4 being tested in the snow by Porsche.

here is a pic of my 928 at my house. I know the rims are ugly but I picked up a new set of 993 17 inch rims so that will fix that problem. A little photo shop will fix those rims.

If you have the manuals CD, the 928 Christophorus portion has winter pictures in the April '77 article and May '78 article (New York-Moscow-Paris). Each have a couple larger pics of decent quality. I just remembered these from when I was browsing through a while back. Thumbnails below. Wintery enough?

Thanks for the shots, guys! I especially like the one with the reindeer at the window... that's wintery!
BTW, what is Christophorus?
Any other pix out there? This is fun!
