94 GTS in UTAH
For those of us interested in the black 94 in Utah, it has a ebay listing as well, the car is also listed on Manhiem Auction for a buy it now 31500. On the ebay listing they have dropped the buy it now to 33500. Funny thing its listed on the Manhiem with 35k miles and has a pic with 67k, and the ebay listing has the miles screwed up as well, but both have the pic (current?) of 67k.
I'm in the car sales business and it looks obvious they are motivated sellers. I can't vouch for the car but if any of us are bidding, you might try to contact the dealership and make an offer.

If anyone wants me to check it out, I'd be happy to. I'm not a wrench, but I've owned three 928's, so I know pretty much what to look for. I also have a GTS so I have a basis for comparison. Or you might contact "ketchmi" (Dave Lomas) and ask him for a PPI. He's a qualified 928 mechanic.

That same car was for sale at a new car dealership in Chicago about two months ago and listed for sale on Ebay and cars.com by the same dealership. I had them send me info and additional pics of the car. It was very, very tired. It had nicks and scratches below the paint surface, cuts in the sunroof liner, and a host of more undesireable negs. These guys cleaned it up very nicely and have probably managed to do a nice job of hiding (temporarily) alot of the defects.
The dealer in Chicago finally gave up and sent it to auction. My guess is it sold for somewhere around $25K, but I don't know that for sure.
Possibly removing the tint and putting the original black calipers back on the car would be a nice start to a resale. But what do I know?

with the tranist charges and what ever clean up charges they've done , my guess is they are trying to break out of it for what they own it for.....bad sign if it has some things going on with it that arn't apparent to the eye at first.
