Default Quick input on Short Shifters Please

I know this is a little like walking into a crowed room and asking if Bush or Kerry would be the better president, but......

I need to buy a short shifter (SOON). All of the Big Three have one to offer and for the exact same price. If the shifters are EXACTLY the same, I will go with the supplier I have built a relationship with. However, if there are truly differences (other than the obvious blue vs red) like size, material, geometry, ease of install, included parts, etc. that makes one better than the others, I will factor that into my purchase selection.

When you get yours, can you measure the holes on center?

Thanks

I have the blue one...it's worth about 12 rwhp. I hear the red one's add up to 17 rwhp, but I'm a bit sceptical....

We are thinking of adding a platinum version (ala American Express). It will work just the same but cost 20% more.

"How about a Mark Kibort Edition a la Eddia Bauer?"

Sure, It could have one clip missing and you would need to check it once a week just to make sure it wasn't falling off. He He

Worth it! However right after installing mine I missed a few shifts for the first few days till I got used to it.

"Quick" feed back is that they make the shift "quicker".

They are "stoopid" simple to install....instructions come with the shifter.
