Default Dyno Video at 7psi

Well, I finally figured out this video program. I THINK??

Its made by “Dazzle”, DVC-80 and it allows me to put my Analog images from my Sony camcorder onto the computer. Nothing fancy.
The video quality is OK and the sound is good (turn it up) I was holding the camera in my left hand, wheel in the right and my feet on the pedals. I pretty much got it all captured. I couldn’t quite get the tach in view or hold it there consistently. Hopefully you can see and make out what is going on. The top gauge is boost, second is Fuel pressure, the bottom is water temp (it will be replaced by my wideband display soon). The yellow device on the dash is the temperature exiting the intercooler measured via some VERY accurate thermocouples, the other device is an LM-1 Wideband O2 sensor. (I don’t have the data logger hooked up yet)
You will see the dark bar graph move to the right which is rich and perhaps make out the digits…they seem to settle in the 10:1 range. Like I said, im running rich. Which is ok for now.

I assume you right click and “save as” to view it.

7psi, but you can see it slip a bit near the end of the runs as well as the fuel pressure drop. None of this I was aware of until I saw the video. Its become great tool for trouble shooting!
375hp 372ftlbs
Cat bypass, RMB, 91 oct gas, runs in 3rd gear.

The camera was basically held by my left ear on my shoulder and you can see the perspective that Carls pillar pod set up gives you of the vital gauges. Its in your face, where they should be .

Bwaaaaahhhhhhhhh
enjoy...

LOL. I don't get access to my crappy computer at home much anymore. The wife/kids are always on it. So, when I do get on it, I'm ALL over it!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I cannot view it either, Tony, and I do have that codec installed.
I use the Dazzle thingee at home too for analog - it works OK (aint great, but good, like you say).

I wonder if your "save as" settings might be on some bizarre output type.

Do you have any video editing software you can bring it up in and re-save it as?

Ok, for some it works, for some it doesnt...hmmm
I guess i didnt get the "viewing fee" from those that couldnt see it.

Honestly though, i just clicked the boxes as i copied and edited it...the rest is all PFM to me.

I looked at the "properties" and it says "mpeg" and the file is shown with the windows media player Icon.
Ive had trouble with windows media player as well from time to time, thats why i downloaded the "Elecard MPEG2 Player" it plays everythigng that windows gets tripped up on.

Yup, no turbo lag there is the Heinrich! Almost like a direct switch to the gas pedal. Apparently, thats why driving this version of of a SC feels like a "big block". You can see where the boost starts to creep back as i approach 5500 or so.

Yeah, Carl, this is the first time ive used the program. Ive got hours upon hours of "analog" videos of my kids that i would like to burn and better store. Its a nice program to have. I have no idea how to do all the fancy editing stuff yet. It took me a few trys to just get the script in there and to have it scroll.

Now I need to rig up a camera mount now somehow.
