Default Prototype SUPERMODEL groupo w/ SC on e-bay NR $1500.00

Hello Everyone,
I got a system together out of new and used, some prototype and some production parts. It's the non intercooled Jag/Eaton M112 setup. The manifold was actually on Mike's 86.5 for several months. He was going to replace it with the intercooled is the reason it was removed. Bidding starts at $1500 with NR.
The normal parts groupo is currently priced at $1975. You can generally find the Jag/Eaton SC on e-bay for $400-$600, less if your lucky. So this is a $2500.00 value not to mention you don't have to get on my waiting list. Get it now get it for less.
This system will add 75CHP to "85-"86 models and around 80CHP on S4s.

Fire away with any questions.

The non-intercooled jag setup on my car made 311-rwhp ON THE DYNO. My car was 100% stock except for RMB. I bet more power could be had if my cats weren't 18 years old. There's a dyno chart floating around... check 928supermodel.com if you can't find it.

Sorry, it will not fit the 16v cars.
Thanks for your interest.

Thumbs up

What additional parts are needed to install on an s4? I just might bite.

Dave,
For the S4 you'll need:
• 24# Ford MotorSports fuel injectors $219.88
You may get these from www.summittracing.com.
• Bell Engineering Group 2025 boost sensitive rising rate fuel pressure regulator $190. Seller 16249 on e-bay has proven to be a good source of these. No Affiliation. Just search FMU and you'lll see it.
• Magnuson Products By-Pass Valve $110 http://www.magnusonproducts.com/bypass.htm
Part No. 19-15-01-000
• Any 2 1/16" boost Gauge $30-55
• Air Fuel Ratio Meter $38.00 http://www.tradervar.com/store/agora...age=cp8200.htm
• Any Fuel Pressure Gauge $30 available at local parts store
• 8-rib belt for Supercharger $25 available at local parts store
• 4-rib belt for power steering $15 available at local parts store
• K&N air filter $31. www.4filters.com part # is RU 3130
• ‘87+ cars need the 85-86 throttle body $110 from www.928intl.com. I've figured out that you can use the stock '87+ throttle switch by drilling a hole through the opposite sied of it and turning it backwards.

The 85-86 car don't need the injectors as they come stock with #24 injectors. The stock injectors will need to be cleaned though at about $100. The 85-86 cars need a 16" SPAL fan, relay, fuse and wiring all less than $150.00. http://www.bakerprecision.com/spalfan.htm The 85-86 cars use the stock throttle body and throttle switch.

HTH,
Andy K

I'm confused. What's the reasoning between the 24# injectors used for the current project v. the 30# injectors used for the kit that I'm getting from Heinrich?

Brian,
Your setup is going to make much more power and will need the bigger injectors. This Jag/Eaton M112 setup will net about 80CHP on an S4 at around 4.5psi. Your setup with the twin-screw and intercooler will net a minimum of 150chp at 7psi. More power = need for bigger injectors.
HTH,
Andy

Who wouldn't like to hear that?! Tnx again, Andy. I hadn't noticed that this was the non-intercooled iteration.

Andy - different intake port spacing = why this wouldn't work on an early car?

Brendan,
The heads on the early cars are much different than the 32v cars.

Yes, I understand that the heads on the late cars have "protruding" ports, where as the early cars have a more "flat" onto the head entry for the ports.

I've been doing enough engine work to have the port designs in my dreams - I was just picturing the manifold in the picure on ebay and the ports on a 16V.

Well, I already have the Euro intake and 10:1 compression pistons anyway, so the 16V SC idea will have to be aside. 10:1 compression is (I think) too much for these 2V heads and boost. 4V heads open up WAY more headroom for over 10psi though.

I agree. And the spark plugs on the 16v cars prevent this type of manifold from being used.

Ah, yes, The spark plugs holes. I think I had a dream last night about how to index that electrode to show to the chamber all the time.
