[QUOTE=Nicole]But I'm confused about the ticket - the cop's badge on the pic says "Colorado" - no?
[QUOTE]

Nicole - that pic is from the Nat'l Lampoon Vacation Movie...and that is Checy Chase in the pic with the cop...or else Red could make a living as a Celeb lookalike!

Default Glad the trip went fine!

I've been hoping that you didn't have any problems during your drive. Thanks again for coming to Georgia to buy my car. I'm glad to hear you are going to put it away & clean her up. I know the car could be near perfect with a little more TLC.
Good luck to you, and everyone else on the board with a 928. I haven't posted much, but I have read & researched a fair amount during the time I was an owner, and appreciate the help. I doubt I'll be around any more, as I will most likely never have a 928 again........ --Jamie

Beautiful car. Great choice. I can't see how it lasted for sale so long. I was had been hoping that a friend here in Atlanta, named Jamie too, would buy it. His 951 just bit the dust.
Looks like it went to a loving home.

..well, the ultimate on this side of a ClubSport that is...

To me this or a 86.5 were the best option for a pre 87 look shark. One thing I notice about older sharks is the rear bumper fades differently than the rest of the body due to the plastic. So far the paint is the same on the whole shark front to back.

I'll have to research what I can about those turning headlights and put in my 2 cents on it. Need to play with the stereo and see why the factory amp was disconnected.

I guess I'll be looking for a while on GTS rims everywhere.
Also I'll be studying the technology of GPS and DVD players. I want something that uses USB or harddrives with MP3 and DVD file system, instead of an array of a DVD changer that's yesterdays technology.

Anybody ever install a satellite radio in a shark before?

If you get an Alpine navigation system and an iPod you will have a great nav system and MP3 player that looks close to stock when the screen is not out.

The Euro headlight thing was hydraulic in the early cars using something like mineral oil. Not sure when they switched over, maybe with S4, but they became electrical motor driven. I installed full H4s in my 89. They came with motors in the yokes that hold the headlight fixture. I'd need to wire them to some kind of rheostat switch.

Good purchase. I wish I had room for another.

Default Congrats!

Sweet Ride Man! - Now aren't you Glad you listened to my advice?. There's nothing finer than a sweet EURO - except for a blown GTS!

Now all you need is another shark to make three! - I'll drop you a line later.

HA! I missed this the first time around!

Tom, looks like a great car! I saw the ads when the car was for sale and thought it looked like a really nice example.

If there is anything I can do to help please let me know. Good luck. Its fun and it will drive you CRAZY!
