Default My resto/repair project

Hi to all, this is one of the cars I'm currently repairing, it is an 1985 s it has the 310 hp euro motor with a 4 speed auto. Apart from a bit off quarter panel damage it's in pretty good order with a new cambelt and new brakes including discs all round. This is the car I have restored the spoilers on, the colour is Iris blue and it will be a real beauty when repainted.

Ouch! That resto will keep you out of the pubs for a Saturday or two. Do you have a donor parts car for the quarter panel & rear cover - and (apparent) positive rear camber trick?

You're right on the money again Garth, yes my donor car was the same car I used to convert my own road car to manual, that wreck has really be recycyled, both quarters have been used and all of its mechanicals in various cars getting around Australia.

Yes I have been way too busy, the worst thin about it is, I'm probably going to do it for nothing, well I hope not, looking for about $27,500 AUD for it paid $7,000 then the cost of repairs, remember an inside out respray here will cost you $18,000. Dogs go for about 12 to 14k and good ones 18 to 22k mine will be way better than those so I hope 27k is not optomistic. I just have to attract the right buyer who appreciates quality.

Good Lord! I'm glad I'm not shopping for a shark down under!
