Does anybody make those hinge conversion kits, so beloved of the fart-can crowd, that make the doors swing out and up? Not that I'd put one on Sharky, you understand...

I bet the frame ridgidity is not compromised too much - the guys with convertibles still have great twist strength - jack up rr tire and rfront comes off the ground with it and all...

FWIW, The guys from Aruba said they are looking at putting scissor doors on a GTS...

No, but they tested driving the car with the doors open and found it would not cause a problem up to something like 80 km/h.

I was thinking about butting lambo doors on my project 928, but concluded that it may be too rice. Any opinions on the "riceiness" of these doors on a 928
