Roger,

Congrats!!! Looking forward to seeing her in person. Should we get the DFW gang to do a caravan as you pull into town?? We could give you a 928 escort as soon as you hit the Red River!!!

Man, your garage is looking better already.

Carl,
Hot damn!
The asking price was definitely reasonable. If this was next August you might have had a bidding
war as my daughter turns 16 then.
Roger,
Good buy! Keep her out of the Texas sun.
Oddly, with your purchase that's 3 Weissachs' that have traded owners in the last two weeks.
Jessa sold her's.
Iantdopps bought another Weissach.
He mentioned selling his Good/excellent condition to Bill French in /around Austin. His name sounds familiar... he might be a member of the Austin 'Wolf's Den' -928 Club-.
Hmmm... 3 Weissach's within 300 miles of each other(roughly, 1/68th of the production run) might see you around...

Roger, You lucky twit. It looks like a fine deal all around. Now I have to go find an OB. I'm falling behind on 928 totals around here.....

The passenger seat has been taken for the Boston to Dallas trip.
My brother in law is flying in from England to Boston on Thursday to join me for the journey.
I bet it will not be long before he is a 928 owner.

Thanks to everyone for there kind words.

Best,
Roger

My brother flew in to Washington DC to meet me when I picked up my '91 GT. We took one week to drive cross country with sightseeing, getting speeding tickets, and other fun stuff. But I was not able to convert him. He still rides his bicycle whenever and wherever possible. His car will die vrom old age, not wear...

Have fun!

PS: Regarding the radio. At Sharktoberfest I noticed that 928 International has a stack of radios there. Not sure, if the desired model is included, but at least there is another place to look for one...

Congrats ROG. I have been in the car when Carl owned it, and he has taken care of her. Enjoy!
