Talking Comrades, I am in need of some serious wiping :)

I currently have Porsche OEM windshield wiper blades (the ones with the little plastic spoiler thingy on them). But they don’t work very well. And, since the rainy season is upon us, I figured it’s time to upgrade. Some of my pals recommended that I give PIAA Silicone wiper blades a try. The closest store that carries them is fairly far and in order to buy on-line I need to know correct size. And since I am too lazy to measure myself, I the following questions for you, esteemed 928 connoisseurs:

What size wiper blades (front and back) do I need to buy for a 1990 S4?
Do you know of a good on-line vendor that carries PIAA stuff?

Many thanks!

Bosch makes a silicone blade - forgot the exact name - that can be found at any Kragen. Works great.

What works really well for me is not driving my Porsche in the rain.

In addition to fresh blades I try to keep a good layer of Rain-X on the windows. My rear wiper arm is broken and therefore out of service and the Rain-X makes it possible to see out the rear window at sub-sonic speeds.

Bosch Micro edge works great, I put them on all my vehicles. Rain-x too.

If you've got RejeX - it works even BETTER than RainX!

If you drive fast enough, you don't need wipers.

I keep rainX window wash in the intensive wash reservoir. It works really well.
I bought some teflon coated blades (I beleive Bosch) from Costco which are pretty good. But I get a nasty rattle from my wipers at low speed or standing with only a bit of water on the windshield. It's as if the tension from the old springs is not enough so the whole wiper starts "hopping" over the windshield. It disapears at higher speeds, where I guess the wind crates greater pressure on the blade.
